Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-08-27. This page describes the current free, account-free editor.
Research data stays in the browser
CSV files, table values, graph titles, analyses, and exports are read and computed locally with the browser File API and in-memory state. PivoGraph does not operate a research-data backend and does not receive those contents unless you choose to attach them to an email.
What the website still processes
- Hosting or CDN security logs may include IP address, user agent, time, requested URL, referrer, and a coarse region. Purpose: deliver the site and investigate abuse. We do not run a separate analytics product.
- The editor stores the UI language in
localStorageunderpivograph.uiLanguagebecause you asked for that preference. Clear site data in the browser to delete it. - If you email support, we receive the address, message, and any attachments you send. Do not attach sensitive research data.
Current privacy practices
This version has no accounts, advertising, cross-site tracking, session replay, or payments. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising, and the application does not set marketing cookies.
Retention and location
Research data is kept only on your device until you clear it. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider’s default security retention, typically days to a few weeks. The site is intended to be served from Hong Kong or other infrastructure outside mainland China; logs are therefore created where that infrastructure runs.
Your requests
You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of information we actually hold (usually only support email). Contact: support@pivograph.com. You may also complain to a competent authority where the law allows.
Changes
If the data flow changes — for example analytics, accounts, or cloud sync — this policy will be updated before that feature ships.
